Belarus border guards mark professional holiday with Russian anthem (photo)
A military orchestra in Pinsk played the anthem of the Russian Federation in the city's main square during Border Guard's Day celebrations.
Pinsk frontier guards celebrated their professional holiday in the centre of the city. A military orchestra organized an impressive parade near the former Jesuitical collegiums and dog experts demonstrated their skills afterwards.
However, it was strange to hear the Russian anthem performed by the orchestra. The words about the tsar’s victory over Swedes and Lendians were sung by Belarusian frontier guards.
