Players of Canada national hockey team become Olympic champions
The national team of Canada has become the champion of the Olympic Games in Vancouver. The Canadians defeated the US national team in the overtime in the final — 3:2 (1:0, 1:1, 0:1, 1:0).
The Americans managed to tie 25 seconds before the end of the third period which resulted in the overtime. Sidney Crosby scored the victory goal during the eighth minute and Canada became the champion.
