Poland is going to restrict commercial aviation flights above the 30km territory along its eastern border in September, wyborcza.pl reports. The army has explained it by the necessity to enhance the air defence system.

Civil flights will be forbidden. Regular flights will still be allowed. Flights will be allowed to VIP-persons, medics, the police and frontier guards. The rest will need to get permission to fly there. The ban will also affect skydivers and drones.

The measures are conned with Belarus-Russian military exercise West-2017 that will be conducted on September 14-20. About 13 thousand soldiers will take part in the manoeuvres.

Belarus’ neighbours are worried thinking that West-2017 may be the begging of Russian aggression.
