Political prisoner Uladzimir Kondrus transferred to mental hospital
Political prisoner Uladzimir Kondrus has been delivered to Navinki mental hospital to undergo a psychiatric expertise today. The decision was made by Minsk's Maskouski District Court, politician Pavel Sevyarynets wrote on Facebook on November 23.
Kondrus, 39, is the last political prisoner standing trial for participation in the Square-2010 in Belarus. He is accused of participation in mass riots.
The trial started on November 16. It was suspended at the very beginning: it was announced that Kondrus had tried cutting his wrists the night before. The court sent him to a psychiatric expertise.
