Political scientist Illarionov threatens with ‘Belarusian front’
Putin’s former assistant has given an interview in Kiev.
Europe may face a long war and cannot start helping Ukraine now. It is connected with so-called “Arab spring” and radical Islamists’ terrorism, Putin’s former press secretary Andrei Illarionov said in Kiev.
Illarionov called it ‘the opening of a new front in order to weaken assistance to Ukraine’. However, the results may be different, the political scientist thinks.
"Ukraine is one of the first fronts but it is not the last one…” Andrei Illarionov said. He mentioned the Belarusian, Baltic, Kazakhstani, Georgian and even Russian fronts.
"The war can be won only when Russia becomes a free democratic state,” Illarionov claimed.
