“Prospect” leaders exiled from Brest escorted by driving inspectorate cars
The leaders of an entrepreneurs’ association “Prospect” have left Brest escorted by driving inspectorate cars.
BelaPAN reminds that the head of the organization Anatol Shumchanka and his deputies Victar Chaikouski and Volha Krumina arrived in Brest on the morning of May 5. They had planned to present an appeal of kiosk owners to the local deputies. Entrepreneurs demanded to cancel the decision of the regional executive committee forbidding the sale of beer and low-alcohol drinks in kiosks.
Activists of “Prospect” were delivered to a police office and spent 5 hours there. Then they were made to leave Brest along Minsk highway. Shumchanka’s car was escorted by two driving inspectorate cars - one of them was driving ahead of it and the other – behind.
