Putin: CSTO to work out general approach to Syrian issue
The CSTO member states will take a decision about the Syrian conflict after the today’s summit.
“The CSTO cannot ignore the Syrian conflict. The gangs acting on the territory did not come out of nowhere and will not disappear. The problem of terrorism moving from one state to another may affect any of our member states,” Vladimir Putin said opening the CSTO meeting.
The Russian President also recalled the recent terrorist act in Kenya and the terrorist act in Iraq, Interfax reports. Dozens and hundreds of people are getting killed by militants every day, Putin noted.
