"Radioactive" truck stopped at Poland-Belarus border

A Russia-bound cargo truck carrying heat-resistant bricks was last night detained at the Poland-Belarus border crossing point.  When the Germany-originated truck was waiting for being cleared by the Belarusian customs, the level of radiation on the truck was determined as 1.5-times higher than the normal standards.

The truck is being held at a parking lot, while the authorities are probing the cargo, according to the Belapan news agency.
