Agro-renaissance in Lida castle: dark sides of Belarusian restoration
"Agro-renaissance, rural Baroque, village Post-Modern" — say the Belarusian amateurs of antiquity who took pictures of the castle not from the front side.
A really demilishing photo-report appeared at the web-site vandrouka.by. Bricks laid out-of-straight, covered with cement, ladders which are dangerous for moving, walled-up "excess windows" in the tower - the authors of the photo-report think that there were not enough glass units - and other horrors of the Belarusian restoration.
The Lida castle was reconstructed in 2010, before the Dazhynki harvest festival.
