Anatol Lyabedzka taken to police
Unknown people in plain clothes tried to detain the UCP leader.
The incident happened at about 10.30 near the politician's house in Lesi Ukrainki Street, 4-1. Lyabedzka had just returned from the "Eastern Partnership" summit in Warsaw and arrived home from the airport. Unknown people waited for him near his house.
Neighbours defended the leader of the United Civil Party. They blocked the way out of the yard with their cars and called the police. Policemen arrived and identified the attackers' personalities. They were representatives of the force structures.
Nevertheless, the policemen detained Anatol Lyabedzka and took him to the Central district police department. The politician will give explanations with regard to the passport with which he went abroad. Let us remind you, Lyabedzka was named in the December 19 criminal case. The criminal persecution against him has been ceased but his passport hasn't been returned to him yet. However, the politician managed to go abroad.
