Andrei Kabyakou appointed head of President's Administration
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has made the decision.
Kabyakou used to be Belarusian Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation. He was vice PM from 2000 to 2010 and had a reputation of an advocate of market economy.
Kabyakou was born in Moscow in 1960. He graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute (1983), Belarusian State Economic University (1991) and the Institute for Political Science and Administration of the CPB (1991). He is a mechanical engineer, economist and political scientist.
The position of the head of the Administration became vacant about a week ago. Let us remind you that the previous head of the Administration, Uladzimir Makei, has been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs.
