Another silent protest action to take place today
Its participants will come out to the central squares of every city or town of Belarus.
A traditional silent protest action, participants of which come out to the central squares of their towns and cities without flags or slogans every Wednesday, will take place on June 29 at 19.00. This is the fourth action of the kind. The previous one, which took place on June 22, covered more than 50 populated points of the country. About 400 people were detained as a result. The majority of them were fined for participation in a non-sanctioned event later.
In Minsk, the silent action is organized through social networks and is planned to take place in the Kastrychnitskaya Square. A week ago, the authorities did not let the people enter the square by closing it with turnstiles. Today, a big disco dancing is planned to take place in the main square of Minsk, involving the BRYU members.
