Anton Surapin's mother receives letter from son
It is dated July 22.
His parents in Slutsk have received the letter today. Anton thanked them for the parcel and sent his regards to all his relatives and photo journalists "he made reports with", informs the website of the Belarusian Association of Journalists.
Let us remind you that Anton Surapin was detained on July 13. He is suspected of assisting a group of people to cross the Belarusian border illegally. The journalist was one of the first people to have published photos of the Swedish teddy bears. Surapin's 10-day term of detention ended on July 23 but they guy was not accused of anything. He is still in KGB prison.
