Bakiyev's official with a Belarusian passport caught in Kazakhstan
He was detained back in June in a village near the Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan border and he is still in prison.
Paizullabek Rakhmanov used to work as a director of the State Material Reserves during Kurmanbek Bakiyev's reign. After change of the authority in Bishkek he was hiding abroad. During the arrest, Rakhmanov showed ... a Belarusian passport in the name of Pazyl Tashbayev, a native of the Kazakh city Almaty. According to the information provided by the web-site tengrinews.kz, the document was issued last year by the Pershamayski district department of internal affairs of Minsk.
The ex-official was in the investigation upon suspicion of committing financial crimes.
