Barysau BATE becomes Belarusian champion-2011 ahead of time

Six football Belarus Cup matches of the Major League were played on Sunday. BATE defeated “Torpedo-BelAZ” in Barysau – 4:2 (the home team’s goals were scored by Bressan (2), Skavysh  and M.Valadzko while both guests’ goals were scored by Salavei) – which made the team 2011 champion four rounds before the finish. BATE will become the country’s eightfold champion (the Barysau team has left Minsk “Dynama” (sevenfold champion) behind) and will win for the sixth time on end. Congratulations on the success!
 

According to the website football.by, Victar Hancharenka noted sadly after the match: “I am sad because there are not many journalists here, they probably did not know that we would win the champion’s title today. The team has become the country’s champion and there is not a single video camera nearby”.

 Meanwhile, the struggle for the silver and bronze medals is getting intense. Minsk “Dynama” has defeated Salihorsk “Shahtsyor” (3:2), the out match of “Homel” and Hrodna “Nyoman” ended in a tie (2:2) and the score chart looks like this now:
BATE — 61 point
"Shahtsyor " — 49
"Homel" — 47
"Dynama" (Minsk) — 46

The following results were registered in the other matches of the round: "Vitsebsk" — "Minsk" — 1:0, "Dnyapro" — "Belshyna" — 0:0, "Dynama" (Brest) — "Naftan" — 0:1.

 Matches of the next round will be played on October 27 and 30.
