Beaten Andrei Mouchan receives one hundred dollar fine
The court has returned the activist of the civil campaign "European Belarus" guilty of an unauthorized picket.
Syarhei Losik, judge of Minsk Pershamaiski District Court, has pronounced the sentence. Mouchan has to pay an 800 thousand rouble fine. The activist has claimed that he is going to appeal the sentence, informs Radio "Liberty".
Let us remind you that the guy hoisted a white-red-white flag near the supermarket "Pershamaiski" in Minsk on May 19. He wanted to express solidarity with political prisoner Syarhei Kavalenka. Policemen detained Mouchan and beat him severely. He received a craniocerebral injury, his lower jaw and a rib were broken, the guy's kidneys and legs were injured.
Mouchan was discharged from emergency hospital on May 25. However, only a craniocerebral injury is mentioned in his epicrisis. The jaw fracture and the other traumas are mentioned as questionable.
