Belarus not to be invited to second Eastern Partnership Summit?
It has been informed that the Summit will take place in Warsaw at the end of September. However, our country is not mentioned among the participants.
The Eastern Partnership Summit will be organized in Warsaw on September 29 -30. The deputy Foreign Minister of Poland has informed about it, reports the PAP.
However, the agency does not mention Belarus among the invitees reporting that the state leaders and Prime Ministers of the 27 EU member states and members of the Eastern Partnership – Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia – will take part in the Summit.
Senior vice PM Uladzimir Syamashka represented Belarus at the first constituent Summit of the Eastern Partnership in Prague in May 2009.
The agreement on the creation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Eastern Partnership that will be launched without Belarus will be signed in Brussels on May 3. Meanwhile, Belarus has not been excluded from the whole EP initiative.
