Belarusian athletes get doping with food additives
Director of the National Anti-Doping Agency Alyaksandr Vankhadla has made such statement.
He has
informed in a comment to interfax.by that during the last several months the
positive doping tests of some Belarusian athletes were connected with using of
food additives, prohibited in sports. Such additives with stimulating
substances are sold in the sports food stores. According to Vankhadla, the
additives will be removed from all sports stores.
The Director of the National Anti-Doping Agency has also said that the food
additives containing stimulating substances are prohibited only in professional
sports, they won't do any damage to an ordinary consumer.
Euroradio reminds, it became known literally within a week that the doping
tests of Olympics-2004 bronze winner Iryna Yatchanka (disc throwing) and
European Champion Tatsyana Sharakova (bicycle ride) were positive.
