Belarusian Union of Journalists reminds OSCE about blacklisted propagandist
The official journalist organization has sent a letter to Dunja Mijatovic, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media.
It is the second appeal sent in connection with the presence of representatives of Belarusian mass media on the EU’s black list. The previous letter was sent to Mijatovic in March 2011.
The BUJ thinks that such sanctions are a dangerous precedent for the whole journalist community, informs BelTA. Let us remind you that the EU visa sanctions affect BUJ leader Uladzimir Lenyashonak, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Belarusian Thought” Vadzim Hihin, the administration of the newspaper “SB-Belarus Today” and others.
