"Belavia" transports frightened Russian fans from Warsaw
The Belarusian airline has decided to help Russian fans who wanted to leave Poland as soon as possible.
Deputy director-general of "Belavia" Ihar Charhinets has informed BelaPAN about it. According to him, not all Russian fans are going to return.
No special flights have been organized for Russians. Only their departure date has been changed. "Belavia" will not suffer any loss because of it, says Charhinets.
Let us remind you that a few fights of fans occurred in Warsaw on the day of Poland-Russia match. According to the official information, 184 people were detained before and after the match. 154 of them were Poles and the majority of the rest were Russians. Warsaw Court has already pronounced the first sentences: eight Poles were fined for 500 zloty each (150 dollars) or imprisoned for 3-12 months.
