Byahun: About 130 thousand Belarusians are in list of travel banned
The Russian frontier guards have these lists, too, so it will be impossible for the Belarusian travel banned to go to the third country through Russia.
Head of the Citizenship and Migration
Department Alyaksei Byahun has informed this to Euroradio:
"Our Belarusian lists include about
130 thousand people. All those who are free (but have travel restrictions - Euroradio), practically all of them are
there".
The lists of travel banned are updated every week but the total number remains
approximately the same, says Byahun.
The 130 thousand of the travel banned are people who have travel restrictions in connection with convictions, failure to pay certain fees and other law-breakers. Recently, this list has been updated with several opposition members, but they managed to go abroad through Russia until now.
Let us remind you, the Russian frontier guards have stated today that they will watch over the list of the Belarusian "travel banned". Thus, those who are forbidden to leave Belarus will not be able to do it through the Russian border.
