Candidate's posters appear before election committee's approval
Euroradio noticed Valyantsina Zhurauskaya's posters three days after the registration. She is an MP.
Mihail Savanovich's posters were noticed a day earlier. He is the head of Minsk City Council. Is it possible to do everything so quickly?
"We will discuss the model and printing today. They promised to be quick - we will see", - candidate Tatstsyana Karatkevich explains whether it is easy to print a pre-election poster. She is running for MP in the same constituency.
You have to bring your model to a printing house first. Then a contract must be signed and the documents should be approved by the financial department and by the head of the district election committee.
"They need to make sure that it is not too expensive", - says Tatstsyana Karatkevich.
However, Valyantsina Zhurauskaya's posters appeared at the week-end.
"They have not been approved yet and we have informed her about it", - said the district election committee to Euroradio.
As Euroradio has found out, Mihail Savanovich sent an application for posters a day after the registration.
Mihail Savanovich admitted that his model had been prepared in advance.
"Everything was ready. You just needed to be prepared for it".
The printing house "Business-soft" that printed Mihail Savanovich's posters is not accepting orders at the moment. They have a lot of work now.
"Of course, posters for such a person should be printed first", - said employees of the printing house.
