Catherine Ashton demands to release Belarusian political prisoners again
The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs has told this to journalists on Friday in Brussels.
According to Ashton, she is concerned about the situation with the civil society. She notes that the EU is trying to make the official Minsk admit the power of the Europeans' civil opinion by the means of political pressure.
Let us remind you, the Council of the EU will discuss the situation in Belarus today. It is expected that the European officials will take a decision to expand limitations against the official Minsk.
