Deputy Chair of "Fair World" party detained at border
Valery Ukhnalyou was taken off the Minsk-Vilnius train at "Gudagaj" station in the evening on January 6.
The politician was searched, frontier guards found nothing forbidden on him and let him go. However, he had to wait for the nearest train back to Minsk till 2 a.m., reports the web-site UDF.by. Valery Ukhnalyou thinks that this is connected with the new politicial campaign, started by the authorities in view of the upcoming parliamentary election in Belarus in Autumn.
The politician thinks that the authorities have once again activated their "black lists", in which they include the most active opponents of the regime.
