Dyke breach repairs took 7 days in Petrykau (photo)
The incident occurred on the River Pripyat on April 18. The breach was over 30 metres long.
According to the Emergency Control Ministry, dozens of machines and almost 60 people worked on the spot. Over 5600 sandbags and 855 tons of druse were used. The repairs of the dyke are still in process.
