Each fifth child in Belarus is born in a non-registered marriage
Official from the Ministry of labour and social defense Maryna Artsyomenka has informed this.
According to her words quoted by BelaPAN, a Belarusian family has changed a lot for the last ten years. There appeared such tendencies as a one-child family, late marriages and giving birth to children, and increase of the number of unregistered relationships. In particular, in 1999 there were 5-6% of relationships like this, now - 8%.
