EU-Russia summit to take place today — Rompuy, Barroso and Putin to meet
The official part of the summit will start in Strelna near St.Petersburg on Monday.

yesterday. According to the information provided by ITAR-TASS, they discussed the economic situation in
the EU and in Russia. It is unknown whether they touched upon any political
issues, for example, the situation in Belarus.
It is expected that the official part of the summit will be dedicated to the
discussion of some issues of bilateral cooperation, and the situation in the
North Africa, in the East and in Asia. RIA Novosti notes that they will also speak
about the issue of "integration at the post-Soviet area".
