“European Club” searched by KGB in Vitsebsk
Several KGB members went to search the house where Vitsebsk activists organize civil happenings at about 12 p.m.
Several KGB members came to 1st Sennenskaya Street, 5 at 12 p.m. Vitsebsk activists organize civil happenings in the house. Hrystafor Zhalyapau, Alyaksei Mihelevich’s representative and a Vitsebsk coordinator of “For Freedom” and an activist of the movement Valery Pyatrou are in the house now.
Mr. Zhalyapau was summoned for an interrogation to Vitsebsk Regional KGB Department at 11 a.m. He was delivered to the search from there: Hrystafor Zhalyapau is the owner of the private house hosting “European Club”. Educational seminars, meetings with clerisy and other happenings are organized there.
It is not clear what KGB members are looking for in the house, however, according to the search warrant, it is conducted in the framework of the criminal case of mass disorders in Minsk on December 19, informs “Radio Liberty”.
