Fake Putin caught on German train
A Russian-speaking resident of Germany showed driver's licence in the name of Vladimir Putin to ticket collectors.
The incident happened during the ordinary ID check on the train going from Salzburg to Munich, reports Deutsche Welle. One of the passengers produced a Latvian driver's license issued in the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin, with a photo, to the ticket collectors.
According to the 27-year-old Russian-speaking resident of Lower Saxony, he bought the fake license at a market in Russia for fun only.
The fake Putin continued his journey after ticket collectors had confiscated the document.
