Film “In The Fog” gets FIPRESCI prize in Cannes
Syarhei Loznitsa’s film took part in the main contest and received a prize of the International Federation of Film Critics.
“In The Fog” is a Vasil Bykau’s story. The events of the film take place on the territory of Belarus occupied by Germans in 1942. The protagonist, trackman Sushchenya is framed up to be cooperating with occupants. Two partisans come to his khutor to take the law into their own hands.
The film was shot by an international team. Loznitsa walked along the red carpet to Kasya Kamotskaya’s songs.
The main prize-winners will be announced on the evening of May 27, informs RIA Novosti.
