"Gazeta Wyborcza" publishes Andrzej Poczobut's prison notes
A diary called “My prison trip” occupied 4 pages of the big Polish daily newspaper.
“I kept this diary in secret. When my cell-mates asked me what I was writing I answered I was getting prepared for the trial. I managed to save my notes due to such carefullness”, — this is how the journalist starts description of his 3-months imprisonment in the Hrodna prison No. 1.
Let us remind you, the correspondent of a well-known Polish newspaper "Gazeta Wyborcza" Andrzej Poczobut was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment with suspension of sentence for 2 years. The journalist was accused of insulting the President.
