Graffiti artists paint European Vitsebsk (photo)
The second festival of graffiti artists "Gravitation" took place in Vitsebsk. The holiday was supposed to promote the street art as a style.
The first "Gravitation" was held in 2009 under the auspicies of the regional Regional Museum of Local Lore, History and Economy. This year, "Gravitation" was held at the private territory. The Vitsebsk European Club invited the street artists. The theme of all works was, correspondingly, "European Vitsebsk".
According to coordinator of the project Raman Voranau, it is not easy to get to "Gravitation". A graffiti artist should send the draft of the future picture beforehand. If the organizers decide that it corresponds with the set theme and has a high artistic level, the author is invited to the festival.
This year, street artists from vitsebsk, Minsk, Maladechna and Vorsha took part in "Gravitation". "European Vitsebsk" came out various and multi-coloured. Naturally, Chagall's theme was also covered.
