German pole vault champion trains Alyaksandr Hleb

Alyaksandr Hleb is recovering in Munich. He trains with pole vault world champion Tim Lobinger twice a day and visits the clinic once a day.

“I feel well. The doctor and the medical staff are satisfied with my rehabilitation. They did not expect it to be like this either. They regret that I started the course a bit late. If I had started it a month earlier, I would be training with the team now. However, Spanish and German doctors have different opinions”.

Hleb does not think about future prospects – his main goal is rehabilitation. The football player hopes that he will be able to train with a team at the end of September or at the beginning of October. However, he does not know what team it will be.

“I will stay in Munich until I am able to run normally. I will begin doing more complicated exercises and working with a team in the club. I have more than half a month. If nothing changes and nothing satisfies me, I will stay in Barcelona for a year”.

According to Hleb, he will make the final decision about the club at the end of August.
