Head of the TV channel "Belarus-TV" Alena Ladutska is not Mikalai Ladutska's relative (Mayor of Minsk). And the surname did not help her take the position.
Alena Ladutska: "I have never used my surname for anything - either at work, or in my personal matters."
But she is not going to make those who are interested in her relationship to the Mayor change their mind.
Alena Ladutska: “Many people asked me smiling enigmatically: "Are your related to the Mayor?" And I... left with a mysterious smile! That was done just in case: "What if he is my relative?!"
And she added: " You cannot make a career suing the fact that you have the same surname as some official." Alena cannot recall any situation when her surname helped her or was an obstacle.
A journalist with an "official" surname works for the STV - Volha Makei. I fact, she is not related to Minister of Foreign Affairs Uladzimir Makei. Euroradio learnt it from Volha's colleagues - they said that she was too busy to discuss her surname with journalists.
Brest "Private entrepreneur Lukashenka A.G." has nothing to do with the state leader. Entrepreneur Andrei says that his surname does not affect his business in any way.
Andrei Lukashenka: “I have been an entrepreneur since 1996. Everyone knows me in Brest!"
Those who do not know him think that it is just an interesting coincidence. You can even joke about it. But nobody suspects him of being related to Alyaksandr Lukashenka, Andrei says.
Young Belarusian singer Yuliana's real name is Volha Pralyaskouskaya. Those who think that she is not related to the Minister of Information are mistaken. The Minister has two daughters and Volha is one of them. She is a post-graduate student at the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus. Interestingly, the post-graduate student and the singer are one and the same person.
Volha became famous after her publication "Mobilization in the web. Internet as a modern means of consolidation of protesting masses" in the magazine "Belaruskaya Dumka". Yuliana took part in the contest "Star Stagecoach" and concert "For Belarus". However, we have not found her photographs from those concerts... And you cannot download her songs either. The girl did not want to help Euroradio with it.
