The thing is inhabitants of the village Yakimava Slabada would like to organize a local referendum. They disagree with the authorities who want to build a cellulose plant there. Activists of “Tell the Truth” provided legal support to the villagers. However, the police detained the group of activists and journalists on May 31 and accused them of violating the road rules. Then they released everyone but Pashkevich.
