Mіhalevіch: I may be one of the key witnesses at Lukashenka’s trial
The former presidential candidate granted political asylum in the Czech Republic has met Belarusian journalists in Vilnius today.
Answering journalists’ questions, Ales Mihalevich has noted that he is looking forwards for his trip to London. He thinks that he may become “one of the key witnesses at Lukashenka’s trial”.
Let us remind you that the London firm H2O Law is going to subject the Belarusian leader to responsibility for tortures in Belarusian prisons. The corresponding subpoena is being prepared now.
Mihalevich: "KGB wondered where I had received the money for my pre-election campaign. Everyone except for them knew that I did not have that money.
The authorities did not want me to leave. Lukashenka had nothing to ask me about. I wrote him a letter and there was nothing special in it. I just asked him “to supervise my case”. I was said that Lukashenka had noted that he nothing to ask me about… If the authorities had wanted me to leave, they would not have announced me wanted”.
