Minister Martynau: EU Ambassadors’ return should have sense
Foreign Minister Syarhei Martynau has made the statement after Lukashenka’s meeting dedicated to foreign policy issues.
The head of the Foreign Office has claimed that Belarus did not ask the European Ambassadors to leave and does not oppose to their return. However, it should have sense and be clear to people, says the diplomat, informs Interfax.by.
In particular, Martynau says that “if they return and some sanctions are imposed in April, what dialogue will it be?”
Let us remind you that Belarus asked the Polish and EU Ambassadors to leave for consultations. Diplomatic representatives of the other EU member states left our country to express solidarity with the ambassadors.
