Minsker announces dry hunger strike in solidarity with Andrej Sannikau
This is how Andrej Mikalaeu wants to support his candidate.
Mikalaeu picked his courage and decided to go on a hunger strike after the press-conference given by Iryna Khalip - she told about her meeting with Andrej Sannikau.
"I found out in the media that presidential candidate Andrej Sannikau had filed a request for pardon under pressure. However, its consideration was slowed down. I want to see my candidate free", - Andrej Mikalaeu has told to Euroradio.
He plans to hold the strike at home, until Sannikau is released. After the Dec.19 events, Andrej Mikalaeu was arrested for three days, interrogated by the military intelligence police and his computer equipment was confiscated for 8 months.
