MP: I am not the only one with a credit - but I am wiggling out!
An MP from Slutsk took a credit of 109 million roubles to build a flat in Minsk.
MP Inesa Klyashchuk has managed to build a flat at the end of her term. She has not built it in Slutsk where she was elected MP. She has built it in Minsk and had to take a credit of 109 million roubles in "Belarusbank" in 2011 for it.
Euroradio has wondered whether it was difficult to contract a debt with her salary during the crazy devaluation.
Inesa Klyashchuk: “I had warrantors! I did not violate anything, I did everything according to the law!".
Most likely, the MP got the credit at a different interest in 2011 - it totalled 17-18% at the beginning of 2011. In this case it means that she has to pay 3 million roubles a month. Isn't it difficult?
Inesa Klyashchuk: “Of course it is difficult but I am trying. I always fulfil my duties and I am wiggling out!".
The MP has not explained how she is "wiggling out" to pay the debt to the bank. According to the law, MPs are not allowed to work anywhere but in the House of Representatives. They can only teach. Inesa Klyashchuk wants to keep receiving the salary of an MP rather than a teacher. So, she is running for MP again.
By the way, if the MP managed to get her rouble credit before the devaluation, it has decreased from 35 thousand dollars to 13 thousands this year.
