Narodnaya Volya to stand trial on July 13
The Ministry of Information demands to close the non-governmental newspaper. The hearing will begin in the Supreme Economic Court at 10 a.m.
According to Maryna Koktysh, deputy editor-in-chief of Narodnaya Volya, policemen have visited the editorial office today. They have brought a report about admisnaitrtive responsibility drawn up according to the letter sent by the Ministry of Information.
Maryna Koktysh thinks that Narodnya Volya may follow the scenario of Nasha Niva if the lawsuit is cancelled, informs BelaPAN. The newspaper may be fined for a huge sum – 17 million rubles.
