Photo fact: little girl discovers unknown dinosaur species
It happened at White Island in Great Britain.
According to ВВС, 9-year-old Daisy Morris found the remains of a dinosuar four years ago. Her family sent them to one of the universities for an expertise. The scientists learnt that the dinosaur belonged to a species of pterosaurs, unknown before - the flying Archosauria. They lived on the Earth more than 66 million years ago. The length of their bodies was about 35 cm, the wing-spread - 75 cm.
The new species of dinosaurs was named after the discoverer - Vectidraco daisymorrisae.
