Policeman who admitted Kanavalau to metro imprisoned
Vital Rahacheuski was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment.
This has been informed by the Belarusian Television in the documentary movie "Metro", dedicated to the terrorist act in Minsk metro.
The convicted policeman was standing at the entrance to the "Frunzenskaya" metro station on April 11, 2011. Dzmitry Kanavalau passed him by with a bag which can be seen in the video filmed by the surveillance cameras, but the policeman paid to attention to him. A separate criminal case was started against the policeman for that. On February 1, 2012 he was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment.
