Polish and Swedish Foreign Ministers: Belarus disappointed us
Radosław Sikorski and Carl Bildt have claimed it at the summit of the EU and EaP Ministers in Brussels.
According to the website wiadomosci.onet.pl, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton has supported them. Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Syarhei Martynau has faced criticism from them.
The Belarusian diplomat has been reminded again that Belarus should stick to the demands concerning human rights, stop exercising repressions on the opposition and conduct a fair parliamentary election.
Syarhei Martynau noted after the summit: "We need more open discussions. The Eastern Partnership is a very important programme but it needs to be effective and truly democratic".
