President is actively threatened, but he is calm
Alyaksandr Lukashenka's attitude to reports about attempts at his life is calm.
He said it answering a journalist’s question during his visit to Mir, informs BelTA.
The state leader was reminded about the video of some member of Russian
special troops published on the Internet. He mentioned the possibility
of physical elimination of the Belarusian President. Lukashenka noted
that such threats could be applied not only to Presidents in the modern
world. According to Lukashenka, he has been receiving threats regularly
for 10 years – “they keep mentioning some bullets, shells and so on”.
However, the President is “absolutely calm”.
The Belarusian leader recalled the incident when his car was fired at
before the election in 1994. “Most likely, they wanted to scare me. They
would have killed me if they wanted to”, said the President.
