Raman Kislyak lodges complaint to Ryhor Vasilevich
The Brest lawyer and human rights activist has attracted the Attorney General’s attention to the unlawful actions of Brest Lenin District policeman.
Let us remind you that Raman Kislyak was detained by Lenin District police when he was distributing leaflets “Do not be afraid!” on March 28. He was delivered to the District Department of the Interior, his leaflets were confiscated and they tried to use force to take his fingerprints. His hand was injured in the process and it was registered in the traumatology centre of Brest City Central Hospital.
The human rights activist is asking to subject the offenders to responsibility and to take measures to avoid such violence on behalf of the police in the future.
Kislyak has sent the same complaint to Brest Lenin District Office of the Public Prosecutor, informs “Human Rights Chronicle”.
