Russia and Ukraine launch energy supplies to Belarus
Russia and Ukraine have launched energy supplies to Belarus, informs BelaPAN.
"Energy supplies from Russia to Belarus were lunched at 00.00 Moscow Time today, the power lines are switched on”, - reports RIA Novosti referring to “Inter RAO”.
"Everything was okay yesterday. The export has been resumed”, - said the director of “Ukrinterenergo” Maxim Kucher to journalists and noted that the enterprise had settled the cost issues with the Belarusian concern “Belenergo”.
At the same time a source in “Ukrenergo” has confirmed to UNIAN that the information that the interstate power lines connecting the Ukrainian and Belarusian energy systems are working at 150 MW. The capacity is expected to be increased soon.
