According to Shoigu, an aviation regiment will be deployed at the base, but the location of the airbase is yet to be announced.
The Russian defense minister also said that Russia planned to deploy four S-300
surface-to-air air defense divisions under the agreement Belarus and Russian presidents Alexander Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin.
