Shurkhai and Shyla do not attend trials in Horki
Zmitser Shurkhai sent an explanatory note, in which he justified his absense in court by financial reasons —he would have to go to Mahileu region from Brest.
Trials against the participants of the non-sanctioned picket in support of Zmitser Dashkevich (they demanded that the political prisoner should be provided an opportunity to meet with his lawyer), detained on August 2, should have taken place today in Horki.
Zmitser Shurkhai from Brest and Ivan Shyla from Salihorsk were released as they had demanded a lawyer at the previous trial. Zmitser Shurkhai has informed to Euroradio that he did not attend the trial, having sent an explanatory note with a request to postpone the trial for two weeks. At the same time, he does not exclude they conducted the trial in his absense.
Ivan Shyla also did not go to Horki.
