Tatsiana Sieviarynets detained
Policemen came to her house at about 18.00 on July 8.
Regional coordinator of the Belarusian Christian Democracy's steering committee, a mother of Square convict and BCD Co-Chairman Paval Sieviarynets was delivered to the October district police department of Vitsebsk. Tatsiana Sieviarynets informed this to the BCD's press-center, having called from the police car by her mobile.
Let us remind you, policemen visited Mrs. Tatsiana on Wednesday, July 6, to hand her a subpoena for an interrogation. The civil activist thought then that this was an attempt to prevent her from participation in the silent action and the daily prayer near Eufrasinnia's cross, as the interrogation was supposed to take place at 18.00. Tatsiana Sieviarynets refused to go to the police then as she was leaving for Minsk.
