Uladzimir Samsonau makes it to next round of Olympics
The Belarusian ping-pong player defeated Australian William Henzell in a difficult game of 7 sets.
Samsonau (ranked 9th in the world rating) won the first set, as it was easy to predict. However, after that the Australian made the Belarusian go deep in the defense and won two sets in a row. Samsonau managed to alter the game and went forward - 3:2. Henzell won the sixth set. He started the last set vigorously but the Belarusian left him no chance.
The Belarusian sportsman will meet with the world's first racket - Chinese Zhang Ji Ke - in the next, fourth round of the Olympics. The game starts at 21.00 Belarusian time on July 30.
